Some photos of our team moving Chincha the jaguar from in the UK to his new home in France.
Its a real privilege to support some great people at two fantastic zoos. We wish Chincha all the best at his new home.
Its only through successful collaboration between zoos that wildlife conservation can have the great impact.

The VWS San Pawl is the smallest vehicle in our European transport fleet. Named after the patron saint of Malta and the location of our Malta branch. This efficient vehicle is specially equipped for rapid transport across Europe. Its smaller size is perfect for smaller species, including those requiring movement at short notice or under rabies conditions.

Last week, after a lot of planning, we have finally been able to transport a rarely seen female Grandider's Vontsira to Bede’s Zoo all the way from Zoo Magdeburg in Germany, EU.

Elizabeth is already settling in brilliantly and showing lots of curiosity as she explores her new surroundings.

We wish all the best with their latest arrival.

Here at we are dedicated to conserving wildlife. Each day our teams are grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the world's most endangered species. We work closely with the international zoological community providing vital services to help with wildlife conservation.

For 2026 we are delighted to provide our support through funding and awareness for an exciting new project to genetically investigate the origins of Galapagos tortoises within the EEP in order to improve the conservation management of these gentle giants.

We are proud to support this joint project by Zoo ZΓΌrich in and the Biodiversity Genomics Group at the in .

This project is funded and made possible by Ventura Wildlife Services, Swiss Association of Friends of the GalΓ‘pagos Islands & Ventura Wildlife Foundation.

*EEPs are population management and conservation programmes by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria ( ) to sustain viable populations of threatened species in zoos.

Here we dont just handle the specialist movement of land based animals, we also work with lots of aquatic animals too. Every year we move countless aquatic creatures including various fish, octopus, anemone, urchins, seals, sea lions, otters, dolphins, sea turtles and so much more.
Enjoy a look back at 2025 when we provided our specialist expertise to provide export assistance and logistical support for the transfer of Cammy the Green Sea Turtle between Sea Life Manchester, UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ and Sea Life Konstanz, Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ
During the move Cammy was transported in a special crate within one of our special climate controlled vehicles. Throughout the journey our team applied special eye drops and water based lubricant to the turtle's shell and skin to ensure the animal did not dry out. The end result was one very happy large sea turtle moved to a wonderful new home.
