Supporting Royal Trinity Hospice 💙

The Royal Trinity Hospice is an amazing charity providing specialist end-of-life care and support to thousands of patients and families every year.

Their annual Summer Garden Party auction was a tremendous success, welcoming over 400 guests and raising an incredible £170,000!

Among the auction prizes was a 5-night stay for two at Vakkaru Maldives, which achieved a generous £12,000 winning bid - enough to fund one of Trinity’s specialist palliative care nurses for three months.

This is a cause close to our hearts, and we were delighted to work with our valued partner Vakkaru Maldives, who generously donated the prize at our request. A huge thank you to the team at Vakkaru for helping us support such an important charity 🙌🏻

One island, endless snorkeling spots 🐠

Arianna, one of our travel consultants, recently visited Amilla Maldives with a group of agents, her and the group loved it from the reef villa accommodation and dining options to the incredible house reef.

As a vegetarian, Arianna was thrilled at the large selection of different restaurants with tons of vegetarian friendly options. “It is always nice to have options with a dietary restriction” - Arianna

One of Arianna’s favourite features of the resort was the house reef access from all sides of the island, giving guests more space to explore and the opportunity to snorkel no matter the conditions.

The Hum Club Boat Event 2026 🍾

Last week, we hosted our annual Hum Club Boat Event, bringing together our Hum Club hoteliers and valued clients for an unforgettable evening of networking on the River Thames.

Guests enjoyed flowing bubbles, fine wines and delicious canapés as we cruised with plenty of time to chat throughout the evening. Alongside relaxed networking sessions, our new event system allowed agents and hoteliers to take part in informative meetings while enjoying live music from a string quartet as well as wine and caviar tastings.⭐

This year’s event also featured some exciting announcements, including

💙 The launch of HBTX, our brand-new booking system
💙 The introduction of Mexico as an exciting new destination
💙 Our very own new event system, Hum Hub
💙 And our own bespoke event experience, Hum Adventure

We also highlighted the exclusive Hum Club community benefits and incentives, alongside our incredible Hum Beyond properties, Miavana and Kisawa Sanctuary.

The Hummingbird Charity raffle this year raised over £3,200 for our Leopard & Cattle Conservation Project in partnership with the Conscious Travel Foundation by auctioning off 14 incredible prizes including 11 stays across the Indian Ocean.
