🐾 Travelling with your dog? Don’t forget the tapeworm treatment! 🐾 💊
If you’re heading from Great Britain to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Finland, Malta, or Norway, your dog needs a vet-administered tapeworm treatment 24–120 hours before arrival.
Travelling elsewhere in Europe? Dogs re-entering Great Britain must also be treated for tapeworm by a vet within that same 24 hour–5 day window before arrival back home.
I provide the treatment and the official certification if required. Short trip to the EU? No problem, tapeworm treatment can be given before you go to save you a trip to the vet on the way home.
Although not an official requirement, it’s also recommended that dogs also receive worming treatment with praziquantel within 30 days after arriving in the UK.
