I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from everyone since returning to Airliners Illustrated earlier this year after almost a year away due to illness and surgery.
To everyone who has ordered an artwork, commissioned something special, shared my work, recommended Airliners Illustrated, sent kind messages or simply continued to follow and support what I do so thank you from the bottom of my heart. The response since coming back has honestly been overwhelming, and I never imagined I would return to so many requests and bookings.
I am currently still behind schedule on a number of commissions, so I kindly ask you to please bear with me while I continue to catch up. As many of you know, I work mostly by myself, although I’m very fortunate to have my good friend and fellow artist Andy Hay helping me wherever possible.
I’ve now made the decision to put back new commission requests until December, allowing me to concentrate fully on the artwork already commissioned and currently in progress. I’ve also had to recognise that I underestimated just how much I would be able to take on while getting back into my artwork and continuing my recovery from surgery earlier this year.
Rather than rushing, I’m taking things one step at a time. Every commission represents something special to the person who ordered it, and I want each piece to receive the time, care and attention to detail that it deserves. Quality has always mattered enormously to me, and I would much rather take a little longer and produce something I’m truly proud to put the Airliners Illustrated name to.
Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support, and please accept my sincere apologies to anyone who has been waiting longer than originally expected. We are doing everything we can to make sure every artwork is completed to the highest standard possible.
Looking back, I honestly can’t believe how far I’ve come in just the last few months after being away for almost a year. Being able to return to something I love and passionate about and see so many of you still supporting my work means more to me than I can really put into words.
Every order, every commission, every recommendation and every message of encouragement is genuinely appreciated. I never take any of it for granted.
