ON EDUCATION: Our education policy must address both inequality and responsibility. Education is not a privilege; it is a fundamental right of every child and a foundational obligation of society.
Under our administration, we will pursue mass literacy through a modern educational system that combines physical and virtual learning platforms, ensuring that no child is left behind regardless of location, economic status, gender, disability, or social background.
We envision a future where Nigerian children can attend classrooms in their communities while also participating in virtual learning environments that connect them with students, teachers, and institutions across the world.
Through strategic partnerships, broadband expansion, digital infrastructure, and modern technology, Nigerian students will be able to learn alongside their counterparts in countries that welcome educational collaboration, gaining global exposure and access to world-class knowledge without leaving their homes.
However, rights come with responsibilities. Just as government has a duty to provide free, accessible, and quality education, parents and guardians have a duty to ensure that children receive it. Therefore, it shall be a criminal offence for any parent or guardian to deliberately prevent a child from attending school, whether physically or virtually, except in circumstances recognized by law. No child should be denied an education because of parental neglect, exploitation, prejudice, child labour, forced marriage, or indifference.
Our goal is simple: every Nigerian child in school, every Nigerian child learning, and every Nigerian child equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the modern world. Education will no longer be the privilege of a few; it will be the birthright of all.
Above all, education shall be largely free from primary school through university level. No Nigerian child shall be denied the opportunity to learn because of poverty. We will invest massively in teachers, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, digital learning infrastructure, research, and innovation to ensure that Nigeria becomes one of the most educated and skilled nations on earth.
A nation that educates its people secures its future. Under , we will make education the greatest instrument of equality, freedom, prosperity, and national development.
