It’s been an exciting day down by the River Mersey today! 🚢🛶

Not only is Mein Schiff 2 calling at Liverpool Cruise Port, but the annual Liverpool Waters Dragon Boat Race has also taken place just behind the Cruise Port on Princes Dock! 🤩

Hundreds of people have gathered around the local area to take a look at the magnificent Mein Schiff 2, and of course to cheer on the rowers competing in the Dragon Boat Race.

It’s been a great day all round! 🤩

After a few stops around the south coast of England & a trip up to Ireland, Majestic Princess has once again called in Liverpool today!

Next on the list for this magnificent ship is a trip up to Scotland to visit Glasgow, Invergordon & Edinburgh.

Join us on our Coastal Cleanup Day! 🌊

Liverpool Cruise Port is inviting organisations from across Liverpool’s port and city community to join us for a day of environmental action and biodiversity learning at Crosby Marina on Wednesday 2 September 2026.

The event will bring together up to 100 volunteers to make a practical difference to the local coastal environment. Participation is completely free of charge, with port partners, city organisations and other stakeholders encouraged to bring teams of volunteers.

The day will begin with a coordinated litter pick across Crosby beach and the surrounding dunes. Volunteers will then enjoy lunch at Crosby Lakeside before taking part in a biodiversity presentation and guided tour delivered in partnership with Green Sefton.
