A proud moment for Liverpool Cruise Port as our Next-Gen Horizons ceremony onboard Bolette brought together education leaders from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond to build on our progress and strengthen our shared commitment to the next generation šŸ›³ļøšŸ¤©

Through port and ship visits, conversations with industry professionals and experience of real operations, Next-Gen Horizons will help students build confidence, explore career pathways and see where their ambitions could take them. šŸŒ

As the season winds down, we thought weā€™d give passengers a proper Scouse welcome as they make their way back from the city centre, treating them to some Fab Four classics before they step back on to this magnificent ship!

And thereā€™s a fitting Beatles connection to round off the visit, as MSC Preziosa departs the River Mersey this evening, heading for Hamburg, a city that played such an important role in The Beatlesā€™ story! šŸ›³ļøšŸŽ¶

Liverpool Cruise Port is proud to celebrate Coastal Cleanup Day 2026! šŸŒŠ

Together with a large group of volunteers from local organisations, we headed over to Crosby for a day of meaningful environmental action combined with an opportunity to learn more about the importance of our coastal habitats, the wildlife they support and how organisations and individuals can help protect them.

The Liverpool event forms part of Global Ports Holdingā€™s wider international sustainability initiative, bringing ports and their partners together under the theme: ā€œFrom Every Port, For Every Coast.ā€

Whilst this may have been our first Coastal Cleanup Day, it certainly wonā€™t be our last as it is now cemented into our annual calendar.

Liverpool Cruise Port is proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, helping us provide a more accessible and inclusive experience for all guests.

The Sunflower symbol allows people with non-visible disabilities, conditions or chronic illnesses to discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, understanding or support.

Our team has received dedicated training to recognise the Sunflower and assist guests throughout their port experience.

The programme launches at Liverpool Cruise Port today, 15 September 2026, supporting Global Ports Holdingā€™s commitment to creating a more accessible, inclusive and welcoming experience for all guests.

As part of the programme, Sunflower lanyards and information materials will be available at designated locations at Liverpool Cruise Port. Port partners and stakeholders are also being encouraged to promote awareness among their teams, particularly those working in customer-facing roles.
