Another make today is this storage bag and a set of interchangeable knitting needle cable keepers.
Customers chose gold coloured cable keepers so I added sparkly gold lettering to the bag. Always nice to match colours 🙂
This set is for Chiaogoo needles, but they can be made to suit other brands too.

Wow, that was a close one. I found a piece of fabric and a pattern I wanted to use with it, the scraps are all that is left!
Now to find a matching and thread so I can sew.

I only have one of these larger craft caddy bags left and it’s a gorgeous grey/blue mix with the cutest cat design.
Question is should I make more of this style bag?

I’ve been rather quiet recently, but busy behind the scenes.
Today I “saved” this gorgeous fabric from landfill and used it to make a cover for my garden furniture. I must say I’m pleased with the end product, though it was a bit unruly at the machine 😬
It’s a clever set as it all stacks up when not in use and the cushions come inside.
Now back to making smaller projects again.

I spent the last couple of days rearranging my sewing room. It feels so much nicer now I have more storage and everything is put away.
Today after a bit of tidying up outside and cleaning windows I found a little time to make myself a case for my short (5”) double pointed sock knitting needle set.
I love these needles and they certainly deserved a beautiful storage case of their own.

Today I’ve been working on a bespoke needle case.
I was asked to make a case for these specific needles to keep them safe and tidy.
So here it is, I added a small zipped pocket for stitch makers and small notions.
Also 1 narrow extra pocket, as I always find I need a space to keep a cable needle or a spare needle or two for one of the smaller needle sizes.
