As well as commission spinning (farm to yarn service), our inhouse expertise includes fibre testing and R&D work. We've already completed a number of new product development trials, producing bespoke blends and yarn samples from bamboo, h**p (pictured), ruby cattle, dog hair and even human hair.

With shearing in full swing, why not take a look at our blog for some top tips on fleece sorting in preparation for sending to us for processing 🐑🧶

Start by:
🐑Laying out the fleece to its full size
🐑Skirt around the edges and pull off any dags/heavily caked on mud or coarse fibre
🐑Pull off any tup or coloured marking
🐑If you have a coloured fleece split the white from the dark fibre.
