Day 3 of our Grand Tour of Scotland! 📸

Another fantastic day exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland! Today, our photography adventure took us through Fort William and the dramatic scenery of Glen Shiel, before stopping at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle — one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. 🏰📷

We then made our way to the beautiful Isle of Skye, where we finished the day the Scottish way with a well-deserved local b**r! 🍻

From majestic mountains and historic castles to unforgettable scenery and a taste of local life, Scotland never disappoints. And there’s still plenty more to come! 📸✨

Another incredible day exploring Scotland through the lens! From the iconic views of Castle Stalker to the ancient history of Kilmartin Glen, every stop offered something special. 🏰

We also explored the magnificent Inveraray Castle and the beautiful St Conan’s Kirk, capturing the history, architecture and breathtaking landscapes that make Scotland so unique.

And what better way to finish than with a stunning sunset to capture the magic of the Scottish landscape! 🌅📷

🍂📸 Scotland in Autumn – Day 1 of Our 8-Day Photo Tour!

Our autumn photography tour of Scotland is officially underway! Today we explored the magnificent Kelpies, stepped back in time at Stirling Castle, met some of Scotland’s famous Highland cows, and finished the day surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Glencoe in the West Highlands.

From historic castles to dramatic mountain landscapes, Scotland never fails to inspire. And with autumn colours beginning to emerge, there are plenty of incredible photo opportunities ahead! 📷🍁

🌊 Bow Fiddle Rock – Moray Coast, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

One of Scotland’s most spectacular coastal landmarks! Rising dramatically from the sea near Portknockie, Bow Fiddle Rock gets its name from its unique shape, said to resemble the tip of a bow fiddle.

With rugged cliffs, crashing waves and incredible coastal views, it’s a perfect example of the wild beauty found along Scotland’s Moray Coast. 🌊📸

Our 8-day Scottish adventure is well underway! 🏴✨

From the charming streets of Circus Lane in Edinburgh to the stunning landscapes of Galloway, a visit to Galloway Distillery, the incredible Falkirk Wheel, and the historic Culloden Battlefield, we’ve already packed so much into our journey.

And now… we’re heading north towards the Isle of Skye! 🏔️🌊

A little bit of local history right on our doorstep! 🏺

Yesterday I took my daughters to visit the Haylie Tomb in Largs, where archaeologists are currently carrying out an exciting excavation. It was fascinating to see the work taking place and learn more about the history hidden beneath the ground.

There have already been some really interesting artefacts uncovered on site, giving us a glimpse into the people and stories connected to this part of Largs over 5000 years ago.

It’s amazing what you can discover when you take a closer look at the history around you! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
