Company History and Background:

J.Skitt & Sons Limited is based in Ashford in Kent; the Company was established in 1970 by John Skitt and has steadily grown in size over the years to become a well-known and established groundwork and civil engineering contractor.

The Company is currently run by brothers Martyn and Michael Skitt who have been involved with their fathers Company since leaving school and are both extremely experienced in all aspects of groundwork and associated plant and machinery.

They have recently been joined by Richard Langley who has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the construction industry and is Company Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor.

Although the Company is mainly known for its expertise in groundwork’s it now has the capability, professionalism and experience to carry out most forms of construction and is able to take on complete packages from inception through to completion.

The Company is a KCC registered and approved contractor.
