I’m so very proud of the Tek team, after working throughout Christmas to become one of the first self Covid testing stations in the UK we are also getting to grips with the new Customs processes. We have at least some good news for you.

We all know there will be disruptions on Jan 1st and this will be compounded with ALL drivers needing a COVID test on the way to Dover prior to crossing to France.

We have been working hard over the Christmas break with the UK Government to set up an in house lateral flow rapid testing facility for our drivers.

We are happy to inform you this is now live and will help to cut down any hold ups on the short sea crossings over to France by identifying any negative cases to minimise disruption and also positive cases, so that people can isolate themselves and prevent the spread of the disease.

We are one of the first haulage Companies in the UK to receive this accolade.

By bypassing the ques waiting for a Covid test near Dover this will helps us as always “to deliver on time and in temperature”
