Isles of Scilly Airport EGHE We are a small airport located on the idyllic Isles of Scilly, 28 miles west of Lands End.

Isles of Scilly airport provides a lifeline link between the mainland and the Isles of Scilly. Originally converted from a farm in 1939 we are now designated as one of the 10 busiest regional airports in the UK. For 2014 we helped over 92,100 passengers on their journeys with over 10,900 aircraft movements. We have just completed a major development project to improve both the terminal and aerodro

me facilities. This has included the resurfacing of all the runways with asphalt and extension of the terminal building in order to create a more customer friendly environment with panoramic views across the harbour and the Islands. REMINDER: Please keep your dogs under control in the vicinity of St Mary's Airport.
We ask that all dog walkers keep their dogs under control when in the vicinity of St. Mary’s Airport.
When dogs are allowed to roam freely in this area during operating hours, they sometimes wander onto the airfield, causing safety concerns and unnecessary delays to schedules.
In order to avoid this, all dogs MUST be kept on leads when on the airport premises, and we request that all dogs are kept on leads when approaching the airport from all directions, including when walking on the coastal path between Porth Hellick and Tolman Point.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Due to advice from the Met Office and Local Resilience Forum which indicates that the weather conditions will deteriorate earlier than previously expected and there is a high likelihood of an escalation to a Red weather warning for the Isles of Scilly, the Airport is now closed.

*** We respectfully request that drivers do not park their vehicles in the cordoned off areas at the airport. These areas have been withdrawn from use to help prevent damage to both airport and personal property and must not be ignored or moved. If drivers continue to remove the barriers and park in the fenced off areas, further restrictions will be necessary. ***

*** Polite Reminder ***

Can we please remind all members of the public that St Mary's Airport is open all day.

Please do not enter the airfield boundary or loiter around the Runway thresholds as this presents a danger to both aircraft and yourselves.

Also please remember that even when the airport is closed it can still be used by locally-based aircraft and emergency helicopters.

Many Thanks
