No business runs perfectly, and there are often issues along the way. However, I believe it’s how you deal with the problems that matters.
6am on Thursday, Nathaniel calls to tell me his van had broken down. Turns out the timing belt went and he needed recovery. Only issue was, he was on route to Northern Scotland and his breakdown location was Dalwhinnie, around 6 hours from home.
Luckily, Micky was delivering to Newcastle so whilst recovery was being organised, he was then heading straight up to meet Nathaniel.
They both worked to tranship the load onto the working van so by mid afternoon Nathaniel was back on his way to make his deliveries. A little later than planned but our customer was kept in the loop throughout the day and everything was delivered eventually!
A hire car was organised for Micky to make it back home the same day and the broken van is currently on route back to Yorkshire on the back of an AA wagon to be repaired.
Thank you to Micky for coming to the rescue and to Nathaniel for persevering. What a team!
We didn’t get any pics up there actually so here’s one of Micky at Lands End the other week. Just as far away albeit in the opposite direction 😂🥳🎉🚚🚛
