👋 We’ve had a few new followers recently, so we thought we’d say hello and tell you a little bit about us!

We’re Devon & Somerset Flight Training, based at Dunkeswell Aerodrome in the beautiful Devon countryside. ✈️

Whether you’ve always dreamed of learning to fly, fancy taking to the skies for an air experience, or you’re already a pilot looking to continue your flying, you’ll find us here at Dunkeswell.

As well as flight training, there’s always plenty happening around the airfield – from visiting aircraft and helicopters stopping in for fuel to skydiving, historic aircraft and everything in between. 🚁🛩️

We’ll be sharing plenty of flying, student progress, interesting visitors and general life around the airfield on here.

So if you’re new, welcome! 👋 And if you’ve been following us for a while, thanks for sticking around. ✈️

You don’t have to know that you want a pilot’s licence before you start.
Book a lesson, see what you think and take it from there! Plenty of people start with one flight simply because they’ve always fancied having a go ✈️

Fair warning though… you might get hooked.✈

Not a bad office view… ☁️✈We might be slightly biased, but we think Devon looks best from a few thousand feet up.
