Paul A Watler Machinery Movements has been in business for over fourty five years and has gained an invaluable ‘back catalogue’ of successful moves – and with them, an enviable level of experience and reputation. Whatever the job. But at the same time, we’ve retained the human element. Ours is a family business with two generations working together to bring you the perfect balance of experience and innovation – although the ‘Old Man’ – Paul W himself – doesn’t always see it that way! Above all however, it has to be said – we’re specialists. As well as being professionals, we’re passionate about what we do. We don’t also run fridge vans, or curtainsiders. We don’t do household removals, or shift bulk liquids. We just concentrate on what we do best. What does that actually mean? New Trailer Arrives at Paul A Watler Machinery Movements.

Paul A Watler Machinery Movements is pleased to announce the arrival of a brand-new Faymonville MAX 100 three-axle, specially covered low-loader trailer, further strengthening our specialist machinery transport fleet.

Designed to accommodate a wide range of heavy and oversized machinery, the new trailer boasts an impressive maximum design weight of 49,500kg (49.5 tonnes), making it a valuable addition to our transport capabilities.

With an internal width extending to 3,990 metres and internal height of 3,370 metres, the fully covered trailer provides excellent protection against the elements, helping ensure machinery remains protected during transportation.

The trailer is equipped with full air suspension, third axle steering and rear low-gradient loading ramps, offering enhanced manoeuvrability and efficient loading of all but the largest versa extending counterbalance forklift trucks. These features also enable us to transport oversized machinery under cover.

This latest investment reflects our continued commitment to maintaining a modern, high-quality fleet and delivering reliable, efficient and professional machinery transport services to our customers.

One of this week's jobs involved moving a printing machine out of a room, across a pathway and up onto the second floor.

Our Operations Director was on hand to oversee the job and most importantly, make sure everything was carried out safely.

The team have the experience, training and equipment needed to tackle challenging moves like this, with health and safety always at the forefront.

Another tricky job completed safely and successfully by the team.

A precision operation requiring careful planning, skilled lifting, skating and teamwork to safely position this impressive piece of equipment exactly where the customer needed it.
Ready for comissioning by the manufacturer.

Restricted access is often one of the biggest challenges in the machine moving industry, but there's always a solution with the right equipment and experience.

On this project, we used our specialist extending counter balance 25/35 hoist lift truck to lift our high-reach, low closed hight Hyster forklift onto a loading bay, allowing us to safely remove machinery from an upstairs tool room.

That wasn't the end of the challenge. Due to a low doorway, the machines couldn't be removed in their normal position, so we used a traditional block and tackle on the second floor to carefully turn each machine before bringing them out safely.
