At the weekend I had to inform a poor old lady who is in the latter stages of selling her home that it will cost her thousands of pounds to clear her loft due to gross negligence by a roofing contractor. Work which was carried out before she bought her house. Don't let this be you. If you are preparing to buy a pre 1999 built home, get an asbestos survey. Don't buy a home with any hidden secrets.
