Graham and Chris Stanley established Stanley Brothers Tippers in 1969, operating with one Thames Trader wagon. The business has grown and developed over the years into what it is today - one of the leading haulage contractors and plant hire companies specialising in bulk excavation in the North of England. We are a truly family run business with Chris and Graham still heading up the company, close

ly followed by their 4 sons. Being a family run business allows us to get to know and understand our customers and satisfy their requirements by providing excellent levels of customer service. We now employ over fifty staff including fully qualified HGV drivers, WAMITAB Managers, Mechanics, Fitters and Machine Operators, fully trained to CITB standards. Our new site in Gt Harwood was purpose built in 2007, located next to our Reclamation Centre it consists of new offices and workshop facilities. The new site allows us to provide excellent working conditions for our employees as well as utilising state of the art equipment. Stanley Brothers are constantly working hard to ensure our senior management team are as qualified and experienced as possible. Current qualifications include:
•OCR Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competance in National Road Haulage
•Level 3 Certificate of Technical Competance in Transfer Operations and Recycling
•IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
•HSE Certificate of Approval in Health and Safety and First Aid
•BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management
•CITB in HGV Mechanicla Engineering
•CPCS in Plant Operations

An exciting day for us supporting/racing the Accrington Soapbox challenge 2025. We had two entries this year...the 'Toilet', and the 'Coffin', driven by SB's very best...Mark and Steven
The 'Coffin' was 3rd in qualifying and 5th in the final, nursing a broken axel, and came away with the best dressed prize !! The 'Toilet' was 14th, unfortunately not qualifying for the final...great effort by both
Well done to all involved making it an amazing day...see you next year :)
