It’s all go at Glynde station today as the fabulous tree team remove the dead ash trees and chipper them to help with w**ds and feed the soil.
Log piles for wildlife too!

This Sunday is STATION SUNDAY!

Pop along to Glynde Station between 11am-1pm with your gardening gloves, a trowel and your enthusiasm! (Along with any seeds you would like to plant!)

We need to do some light w**ding, a bit of planting and tidying! Many hands make light work!

Biscuits, teas, coffees provided… bring your own mug/ glass

It’s looking lovely on the station ramp at Glynde. Still quite a lot of sticky w**d, but we are getting through it!
Any help gratefully received!
Station Sunday 11-1 on 27th June (always the last Sunday of every month) if you can help then nip along with your trowel and gloves and get stuck in
Some plants are still needing to go in once w**ds are cleared (in the Station House front garden)

Look out for a new rail safety campaign from Network Rail highlighting the dangers of losing your attention whilst travelling...

• Ever feel like you’re in a world of your own? That private ‘bubble’, where you can be lost in your phone, your favourite song, or simply your thoughts.
• It might be a more dangerous place than you think… while the UK’s railway is one of the safest in Europe, we still see hundreds of accidents each year across our stations and level crossings.
• An increasing number of studies have shown that many of these accidents may be due to inattention – when we lose sight of what’s around us because our head’s elsewhere.
• So, we’re calling on everyone to take care as they travel, wherever their attention wanders. And help us keep people safe, wherever they are on the railway.
