My work destination today :

The Old Chapel Hartpury. Constructed in 1829, attached to a wing of Hartpury Court. It was built for the Dominican nuns who fled to Hartpury during the French revolution.

Today it will be the scene of a glorious wedding for A&S. ♥️ And the temperature is cooler ! 👏🏻

Is the heat too much for you?

I love Autumn weddings and specialise in creating ceremonies that are personal, heartfelt and full of those little moments your guests will remember long after the day itself.

If it’s really hot on your wedding day a few small things can make a huge difference to how comfortable and relaxed you both feel:

* Stay hydrated from the morning onwards — not just once you feel thirsty.
* Keep water nearby during photos and before the ceremony.
* Blotting papers, powder and a small towel can be lifesavers.
* Build short shade or cooling breaks into the timeline.
* Consider having a canopy over the ceremony area
* Have parasols or fans available for guests too.
* Eat something - nerves and heat together can make people faint.
* have comfortable shoes to change into - heat makes feet swell.
* Most importantly: slow down, breathe, and don’t worry if things feel less “perfect” in the heat — guests remember the atmosphere, not whether everyone stayed pristine.

As your celebrant I will keep an eye on you both throughout the ceremony and make sure you have the opportunity to drink some water if needed.

Enjoy and never be afraid to adapt the day as you go along x
