On Wednesday I spoke on my first ever panel 🤍
It was at the Kaleidoscope Salon, “The Bill for the Future”, held at the Museum of Brands. I joined a conversation about who really carries the cost when business is asked to do better.
I spoke about where Moonji is right now. We are a purpose-driven brand and we want to do the right thing, for the planet and for people’s health. We also have to do it within our means at this stage of growth. Holding both of those is the honest reality of building something small with big intentions, and it felt good to say that out loud in a room full of people working on the same questions from very different angles.
A few other moments we loved:
🍦 The ice cream. Everyone was raving about it, and Maisie who was chairing my panel told us it was the best she has ever had just before we started the conversation. We were so happy with all the lovely feedback.
🍦 A former Planet Organic customer came over to say he had wondered where we went. Then he watched us on Dragons’ Den and it all made sense. He told us he wishes we were in supermarkets. So do we. Watch this space!
🍦 At the end of my panel, Maisie read out the mantra printed on our tub. Hearing those words in that room was so special. Although the conversation was about software and tech we ended up concluding that it’s the relational, human wellbeing aspect of work that can make the biggest shifts. How fantastic is that 😍
I learned so much, and I’m grateful to have been part of the conversation.
Thank you Sandhya Sabapathy and the whole Kaleidoscope team for the experience, Maisie Thornton for moderating so thoughtfully, and Museum of Brands for hosting.
