Right… serious question for Glasgow 👀
How is it that the thing you need to move is always the heaviest thing in the house?
Sofa? Fine.
TV unit? Manageable.
But the minute it’s a washing machine up two flights of tenement stairs suddenly everyone disappears when it’s lifting time 😂
We’ve been out and about all week doing moves across the city -Partick, Shawlands, Dennistoun, Paisley, Govan - and honestly every job has the same moment…
Customer: “It’s just one item.”
Item: Solid oak wardrobe built in 1897 that weighs the same as a small car.
Classic Glasgow.
If you’ve ever tried to move a sofa round a tight tenement corner you’ll know the struggle.
