SPT announces £2.95m investment for North Ayrshire residents to support local transport improvements.

A total of £400,000 has been allocated to Ardrossan Harbour and bus corridor improvements. The Travel Smart Programme – Communities and Workplaces will receive £157,000.

Inverclyde residents are set to benefit from £600,000 of transport improvements over the next three years thanks to investment from Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.

A total of £250,000 has been allocated to extending the Port Glasgow Park & Ride extension, while £50,000 has been allocated to a bus shelter at Port Glasgow Retail Park.

SPT announces £1.95m investment for Glasgow residents to support local transport improvements.

The funding comes from SPT’s Capital Programme 2026/27 to 2028/29 and includes £150,000 for Bus lane enforcement cameras, access improvements to Subway and bus stations, and a city centre south bus hub along with £106,000 for Flourishing Futures by St Paul’s Youth Forum (SPYF) who provide initiatives like community meals, “On Bikes” cycling projects and educational trips to build safer, more connected future for young people.
