Boat owners

Please take time to check your boats before tomorrow lunchtime, check your moorings are secure and your boat is empty of water.

Paddle board parking.

Can I ask kindly that paddle boards are berthed at the ladder steps across from Harbucks when not in use. This to free up berthing spaces at low tide times for boats.

Disabled parking spaces at Gardenstown harbour.

We now have two spaces available .

Can we ask kindly that the two spaces nearest the toilets is used for a 2 hour limit on parking to enable access to Harbucks for the disabled. With a no return for two hours.

Toilets at the harbour have been left in a disgraceful state today.
It is totally unfair to the dedicated cleaner that keeps them clean and tidy we all know how good a job that she does.
Mhairi does not deserve to have to clean up a midden, it’s a toilet please try and leave them as you find them.

Trustees know how lucky we are to have funded toilets and cleaner at the harbour but they could be at risk in the future, there is already a consultation at Aberdeenshire council.

If you want to keep them Bad reports could close them.

Respect your Public harbour toilets please.

Harbour users ,
Please take time to read the following ,

It’s been a very busy week at the harbour and beautiful weather , but there are a couple of small issues that have came to light and need to be addressed .

Bins
When a bin is like this (see picture) , it usually means it is full and can hold no more , it’s unacceptable to just throw rubbish down beside the bin for someone else to clean up. Please take it to another bin or take it home, there are extra bins between harbucks and the toilets.

Fish & Chip Van
On the east pier the cones are placed to keep a berth for Salty Chip (from tonight there are also double yellow lines ) , they are only placed on the days he is scheduled to be there .
Please do not remove them and then proceed to park in the space.
If you are old enough to have a driving licence, you should be old enough to know that if there are cones down they are there for a specific reason.

West Pier
Parking on the West Pier ( the one with the pontoons) is strictly for boat owners only.
If you not going out in your boat , then please park somewhere else eg New Ground , East Pier.

Pontoons
Pontoons are for Boat owners to get to and from their boats, No one else should be on the pontoons at anytime !
