Healthcare Estates is always a special time of year for Quirepace, giving us the chance to reconnect with trusted partners, share new ideas and meet healthcare teams looking to improve their logistics.

At this year’s event, we’ll be discussing our pneumatic tube systems, autonomous mobile robots, uniform management systems and other hospital logistics innovations.

In particular, we’ll be running live demonstrations of our automated hospital scrub dispensing system, which is already helping NHS hospitals reduce scrub losses and achieve savings worth tens of thousands of pounds each year.

We’ll be back in the same location as last year:

Strong partnerships don't last 30 years by accident.

Recently, our team visited ESAM in Italy to see first-hand the manufacturing and testing processes behind their side channel blowers and to strengthen a partnership that has spanned more than three decades.

While we manufacture our own multistage blowers and industrial vacuum systems in the UK under the BVC name, we have continued to represent ESAM for over 30 years because of the quality, reliability and engineering standards behind their products.

One of the things we value most about ESAM is their commitment to the same high standards of quality and assurance that we apply in our own UK factory.

Thank you to everyone at ESAM for their warm welcome and hospitality.

We recently welcomed Andrew Buxton to our HQ, author of Cash Carriers in Shops and a lifelong enthusiast of historic cash handling systems.

The visit was particularly interesting given Quirepace’s historical ties to the original Lamson company, which developed many of the early cash carrier systems Andrew has written about.

During his visit, we gave Andrew a tour of our facilities and showed how pneumatic systems are used in practice today. While once common in retail environments, this technology is now widely used in settings such as NHS hospitals, supporting the transport of blood samples and medical supplies.

Andrew also had the opportunity to see a working system in action, demonstrating how the technology operates in a modern environment.
