Two of the team (pictured) looking far too peaceful in the Burntwood sun this morning considering the week they’ve had!

It’s been a week of two halves. While the wheels haven't stopped, Monday morning was a tough one. One of our drivers was involved in a tragic accident with a loose horse that had wandered onto the dual carriageway.

Between the thick fog and unlit roads, it was a heartbreaking accident waiting to happen. We’re sending a heartfelt plea to all animal owners to PLEASE double-check your gates and fences.

Our driver is shaken but okay, and a massive shout-out goes to the rest of the crew for stepping up. Even with a truck in the garage, every single job this week stayed covered. We’re especially grateful to the those who rallied round at 3:30am on Monday to keep the schedule on track!

We’ve recently become aware that another company, Harris Transportation, has been using a logo and font design very similar to our established branding for Harris Installation Services and Harris Containers.

To avoid any confusion, we want to make it clear that we are not connected in any way to Harris Transportation.
Our companies — Harris Installation Services and Harris Containers — have been proudly trading since 2003, while Harris Transportation was only incorporated in 2020.

Unfortunately, we’ve received several reports of poor driving and inappropriate behaviour involving vehicles with their branding, which some people have mistakenly linked to us. Please be assured these vehicles and individuals are not associated with our business.

If you witness any incidents involving vehicles displaying the Harris Transportation name or logo, please report them directly to that company or to the authorities — not to us.

We truly appreciate the continued support and understanding from our customers, clients, and community as we work to protect the reputation we’ve built over more than 20 years of honest, professional service.

🚛 What a weekend at Brands Hatch! 🎆

We had such a great time at the Truck Racing & Firework Show — always a brilliant event and even better when spent with our drivers and their families!

The truck parade and fireworks were definitely the highlights — what a show! 💥

🚛 Brands Hatch Truck Racing & Fireworks Weekend! 🎆

We’ve made it! All our trucks are safely delivered and lined up for everyone to admire — freshly scrubbed and shining in the sunshine 😎

Bertha’s all set up with the BBQ and sofas, the bacon’s cooking, and Phil’s happy with our parking spot this year (that’s a win in itself! 🥓✅)

We’re ready for a weekend of truck racing action and can’t wait for tomorrow — when we’ll be taking the trucks onto the track during the fireworks display! 💥🚚

Our multi-trailer delivery is pushing through the wind and rain today, proving that even a storm won’t stop the team at Harris Containers from making it to Leeds on time.

Things might be better in threes, but in this weather, two hands firmly on the wheel and a hot cup of tea are what counts!

We love a challenge — today’s mission: take a lorry where even Google Maps says “good luck, mate”.

If you go down to the woods today… you won’t find a teddy bears’ picnic. You’ll find one of our lorries ducking under branches, reversing through gateways tighter than your jeans after Christmas dinner, and still getting the job done.

Our drivers don’t just go the extra mile — sometimes it’s the extra hedge, field, or dirt track too. 💪😂

We’ve got multi-artic curtain loads rolling into a film studio today 🎬 — first one’s in and there’s plenty more to follow. We love a bit of variety!

We’ve been a bit quiet on here - not because we’ve been napping in the cab, but because we’ve been flat-out busy keeping the wheels turning!

Nice tight deliveries for our guys today, you know a site’s busy when you’ve got to unhook the unit just to squeeze the trailer in. Talk about threading a needle with 44 tonnes on your back 😅.

That said, we’ve wrestled the diary into shape and we do have availability for deliveries next week. So if you need something shifting, we’ll get it there, even if it means doing the truckers version of the Hokey Cokey (unit in, unit out, shake it all about 🤣).

🌟 Wimbledon, That’s a Wrap… Almost! 🌟

The last artic load has landed in Wimbledon — and miracle of miracles, it’s NOT raining! ☀️😲

Just one smaller load left to go and then we’re officially done on this project. Huge shoutout to the Harris Container team for powering through mud, mayhem, and motorway madness to get it done.

Who needs strawberries and cream when you’ve got horsepower and high-vis? 💪🚛🎾

📍 Wembley Stadium – Summertime ball 🪩
🕑 2am start – because who needs sleep anyway?

What do you get when you mix two lorries, a maze of tunnels, and a 2am collection time?
A proper mission beneath Wembley, collecting dressing room furniture for one of our long-standing clients – all while the rest of the world was still asleep (and let’s be honest, we wish we were too).

It was so busy we had to bring in the big guns…
Jodie drove.
Yes – that Jodie. Our Transport Manager.

She dusted off her licence, climbed into the cab like she was being filmed for a comeback special, and off she went. (We’re still not sure if it was bravery or delirium from the 11:00pm alarm.)

Massive effort from the whole team – tired eyes, quick turnarounds, and no wrong turns (well… none we’ll admit to). Busiest day of the year and absolutely smashed it.

Someone please cancel Monday.
