4th October 2021……..another busy working day in the life except it was 40 years ago today that I returned to take the helm at our family business of Pretlove’s.
Its been great experience and a bit of a rollercoaster ride facing the minor issue of 3 recessions and more recently a pandemic but, we’ve survived them all and we’re still here.
During the course of 40 years (and where has that gone) I’ve been able to make may friends and acquaintances and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them all.
Firstly I would like to thank my late father Jack Pretlove and his sister Mavis for putting their trust in me and giving me the opportunity to take the business forward and believing in quite a raw and relatively inexperienced 26 year old. Hopefully I’ve done you proud.
I would like to thank the loyal hard working and dedicated staff that have supported me throughout during the good times and also when things got tough. I would like to thank our clients and customers and over the 40 years for putting their trust in our our company to look after their homes and worldly goods I have calculated that there must have been 60-70,000 moves over the 40 years, without staff and clients there wouldn’t be a business. Lastly, and equally as important, I would like to thank our suppliers of services, materials and vehicles for their continuing support and for keeping their pencil sharp in the process. Too many people to mention but hopefully you know who you are and here’s to the next 40 years !!

We have been incredibly busy post lock down, this time of year is always a tough one but since being back our work load has been full on. So on behalf of all of us, a huge thank you to our staff who work so hard day in and day out and especially throughout this heat. The feedback we receive for you is amazing, and you have out done yourselves. You are a credit to us and the Pretlove name.

Glad to say that we are reopening our Removal Operations as from Monday 1st June under strict guidelines in order to protect both our staff and customers.
Difficult times for everyone but it will be good to be operational again.
