From production to delivery - how do we improve the delivery of Sustainable Aviation Fuel? ✈️

Our EVP Fuels, Marco di Mario joined industry leaders at the SAF Supply & Infrastructure Forum to discuss what it will take to scale Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

From infrastructure and logistics to the partnerships needed across the industry, the panel looked at the challenges across the SAF supply chain, from production, storage, transport and airport supply, to how fuel suppliers, airports and logistics providers can better work together.

As SAF continues to grow, building the infrastructure to support it will take collaboration across the industry. We're glad to be part of the conversation.

12 students. One new journey into aviation. ✈️

We’ve partnered with The Amahoro Coalition to launch a refugee workforce programme in Uganda, welcoming the first cohort of students to the Menzies Aviation Training School.

Over the next three months, students will complete recognised IATA training in airline customer service or cargo, gain practical experience and explore careers across airport and cargo operations.

Following their training, they also have the opportunity to start internships at Entebbe International Airport.

The programme builds on our refugee hiring strategy, which has created opportunities for more than 120 refugees across 12 countries.

We are proud to welcome the first cohort and look forward to supporting them on the aviation journey. 💙

Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at one of the world's busiest airports? ✈️

Our team at London’s Heathrow Airport recently welcomed Lisa Chesney MBE, British High Commissioner to Uganda, along with colleagues from the British Chamber of Commerce Uganda and British High Commission Kampala to find out.

From passenger services and ramp operations to our Operations Control Centre (OCC), the visit offered a first-hand look at how we coordinate our teams and equipment across three terminals in real time – with more than 1,700 team members handling more than 100 daily flights for 50-plus airline customers.

Ahead of their UK visit, Lisa and her team spent time our colleagues in Entebbe, Uganda, where we provide ground handling, cargo, freighter handling, PRM and AVSEC services, alongside aviation training through our IATA-accredited Training School.

Mexico’s got a new Menzies look! ✨

Our passenger service team recently showcased our new Front of House uniform at a special runway event to showcase the new look.

Mexico City International Airport (MEX) is the first of 36 stations in Mexico to introduce the updated uniform, marking an exciting new chapter for our teams.

And this is part of a much bigger journey: our Front of House uniform rollout is now around 91% complete, reaching approximately 14,000 employees across our network.

With the next stations already preparing to go live, we're getting closer to seeing the new look across our Front of House network worldwide. 💙

Wishing you all the best, Paul Drever! ✈️

After 31 years with Menzies Aviation, Paul Drever retired at the end of September, bringing an exceptional career in aviation to a close.

Throughout his time with Menzies, Paul has played a key role in our expansion across Africa and the Americas, becoming a trusted expert in ground support equipment (GSE) along the way. His hands-on approach, expertise and commitment made an impact across our business and the wider aviation industry.

To recognise that contribution, leading GSE manufacturer Mallaghan has dedicated one of its new de-icing rigs to Paul, unveiled this month at the GSE Expo in Lisbon.

The rig will join our Edinburgh operation for the winter season, carrying Paul’s name as a lasting tribute to more than three decades of service to Menzies and the GSE industry.

Paul, thank you for your dedication, expertise and commitment to Menzies over the past 31 years. We wish you a very happy retirement and every success in the next chapter.

Our operation in Malaysia just got bigger. ✈️

We've expanded our services at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to include passenger services, alongside our existing ramp operations, making us a full ground handling provider at Malaysia's busiest airport.

Since launching operations in Malaysia, our team has continued to grow, learning new skills and embracing new opportunities. For our passenger services, we've trained colleagues from our ramp operation, giving them new skills and creating a highly skilled team capable of supporting airlines from arrival to departure.

In August 2026, the team successfully handled passenger and ramp services for Ascend Airways, as part of the airline’s Air Operator Certificate (AOC) approval process.

A big step for our team in Malaysia, and an exciting new chapter for Menzies at KUL.
