VR01 – Health & Safety
This course provides a thorough overview of health and safety requirements within the recovery industry. It equips participants with the knowledge needed to comply with legislation and understand their duty of care in maintaining both personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
Learning Outcomes:
✔ Understand health and safety requirements applicable to rescue and recovery
✔ Awareness of regulations, ACOPs, and industry guidance
✔ Recognise good and poor health and safety practices
✔ Understand individual responsibilities in maintaining workplace safety
✔ Knowledge and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

VR02 – Customer Service
This course focuses on delivering effective customer service within the recovery industry, including maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and the public.
Learning Outcomes:
✔ Build and maintain effective working relationships
✔ Understand different forms of communication used in the industry
✔ Identify various customer types and their needs
✔ Recognise and manage dissatisfied customers appropriately
✔ Create a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
✔ Demonstrate learned skills through practical role-play exercises

VR03 – Assess the Roadside Situation
This course provides participants with the essential skills to carry out dynamic risk assessments in roadside environments, ensuring safety for operators, passengers, and the public.
Learning Outcomes:
✔ Understand roles and responsibilities regarding roadside safety
✔ Learn correct approach and parking procedures at incidents
✔ Conduct effective risk assessments in changing environments
✔ Safely repair, recover, or remove vehicles
✔ Follow correct procedures before leaving the scene
