Our little loco was getting a paint job today! We’re so close to completion!! Keep your eyes peeled for when we announce the passenger trains!! ☺️

Saturday was an exciting day for Pippa as she tested her braking system with our coaches! There’s still a little tweaking to be done but, after waiting all day, she was out on the tracks for a smooth ride! 🥳

Our chief engineer has been working hard on Pippa amongst other projects - today it was all about Pippa’s horn! What a sound! Absolutely superb to hear Pippa’s voice!

Lots of activity for Pippa this week! She’s had her first coat of paint on her tender, carefully applied by our volunteer and ‘chief engineer’, Alan! He’s been painstakingly putting her back together and we’re starting to see the end of the project! ☺️

More progress today for Pippa - the tender now has a seat!! Our chief engineer took her out for a ride around the tracks to test drive the seat position! On track to get her on the rails soon!! ☺️

After the hiccup on Saturday with Pippa starting on the key but no stopping, we’re very pleased to say… SHE STOPS TOO!! 😃

Pippa is finally out on the tracks! This is her first run around the tracks, on her own, in 11 years! This restoration is moving along nicely thanks to the dedication of the volunteers! 😃
