Another one of our favourites 💘

This good-looking 2019 VW Golf GTD came into The Garage Dundee for the TayTec Tuning treatment.

The owner has had a GT TDI in the past and felt the newer model lacked a little spirit.....no problem.

A Stage 1 ECU remap coupled with a matching remap on the 7-speed DSG gearbox courtesy of VIEZU Tuning International HQ was just the ticket.

The advantages of remapping a gearbox at the same time as the ECU isn't just the elimination of lazy shifts for a sharper, more dynamic experience, but also, the increased clutch pressure avoids slip and premature wear on the transmission, so far from it increasing wear, gearbox health can actually be extended.

Some Superb results.........

The 2.0 VAG group common rail diesel and Bosch EDC17 ECU combo is possibly the most straightforward and satisfying job we do.
Always solid gains, and with our AutoTuner the job is about as quick and simple as it gets.

This lovely Skoda Superb came to see us at The Garage Dundee for a power upgrade and left us under an hour later with more BHP, more torque and the potential for some better MPG.

🚨 Big News 🚨

Thanks to an industry first from Alientech we can now offer remapping of the Continental SID212 ECUs fitted to later model Ford Transit, Transit Custom and Ranger vehicles IN HOUSE.

Until today, this was previously a job which required the ECU to be sent away for remote unlocking.

We can now offer this as a same day service!

If you are one of the thousands of owners who have been told your vehicle cannot currently be tuned, patiently waiting - now is the time! Give us a shout and beat the inevitable tidal wave.

The engine is common to Transit and Ranger and is reliably capable of power around 200bhp, even from the stock 105bhp version......the results are night and day 📈

One from a few days ago.....

We know we shouldn't have favourites, but if we did, it would probably be the VAG group 2.0 TDI engine coupled with the Bosch EDC17 ECU as they always respond so well to tuning.

This lovely Golf GTD was no exception and was completed in a snap with our AutoTuner tuning tool. This one left us at our friends The Garage Dundee the way it should have left the factory.

We do love the BMW 6 cylinder 3.0 engine as it responds so well to a performance remap.

The discerning owner of this stunning 2015 330d Xdrive Touring has spent some time on some very worthwhile upgrades but knew the engine had much more to give.

We also discussed the benefits of a gearbox remap, to work hand-in-hand with the extra power, so it was a no-brainer to carry out both at the same time.

Dodging the hail and rain 🌧️, thanks to some custom maps from our tuning file provider VIEZU Tuning International HQ the drive was transformed while losing none of the legendary BMW driving refinement.

Not one we see everyday...

This lovely Peugeot RCZ came to see us at The Garage Dundee for some festive fettling.
The customer was experiencing some lacklustre performance and some flat spots that were spoiling the fun. Thanks to a custom Performance remap from our tuning file provider VIEZU Tuning International HQ , the car left us with a completely different driving experience and a very happy owner.

🏁 Speed Limiter Removal & Performance Remap 🏁

Another van, another speed limiter removal. This customer has done a fantastic job with the campervan conversion of his 2016 Vauxhall Movano, but being a former work van, it was limited to just 62mph.

Coupled with a lower power output from the factory, with the weight of the conversion, it was high time to get that limiter off and the 2.3 engine received a power boost courtesy of TayTec Tuning.
