Heavy week in the heat for the team but everyone coped admirably, ensuring every move and pack was met with a cheerful disposition and careful handling of all items.

We had a number of repeat clients this week, with moves in Kingston, Surbiton, Copthorne, Woldingham, Blackpool, Crawley and East Grinstead to name just a few, with moves into and out of our storage too.

Unusual day for the team today, while the ladies were on a pack for a move tomorrow, the lads started early to avoid the heat on their move in Woldingham. The team were moving clients’ to their new home using multiple smaller runs to keep everything safe due to the extremely steep incline, but halfway through their runs a delivery lorry overturned, blocking our lorry in at the new property and rendering us unable to carry on until the lorry was moved. This meant we had no idea when we could restart. Our lads are awesome and were all happy to wait and although a lot later in the day than planned, still got our clients moved today 😍

At Move & More, we not only offer full house removals, packing and dismantle/reassembly of furniture, but many people are not aware that we can also remove any furniture and other items you don’t wish to move with you. We have a full waste licence and can offer this service on the day of your move, or beforehand.

Feel free to reach out if we can help, or send over a picture of what you need cleared and we can price this for you.

Sometimes customers don’t need our full packing service, but would like our packing team to come in ahead of their move to just pack certain items. These things are often fragile items, breakables, pictures, or for us to just pack a certain room such as the kitchen.

We can tailor our packing services to suit your needs, whether that’s packing your entire home, just a few items, a room, or even on an hourly basis.
