Dawn breaking over London Cranfield Airport, with Platoon Aviation PC-24 on the apron getting ready for departure. ✈️

Our FBO Supervisor, Alan Eltham , was up bright and early making sure everything was ready to go.

A quiet apron, a cracking sunrise and the PC-24 waiting to take to the skies — a pretty good way to start the day!

We were delighted to welcome Platoon Aviation and their beautiful Pilatus PC-24 to Cranfield.

During their visit, the crew also stopped by our Digital Air Traffic Control Centre for a look behind the scenes at our operations. 🛫🖥️

It was a pleasure to welcome Platoon Aviation to London Cranfield Airport, arriving in their stunning Pilatus PC-24. ✈️

A beautiful aircraft and a great opportunity to host the crew during their visit.

While with us, the crew also had the chance to visit our Digital Air Traffic Control Centre and see first-hand the technology supporting our airport operations.

A special visitor to London Cranfield Airport today. ✈️

We’re pleased to welcome a C-130J Hercules to Cranfield, ahead of its participation in today’s flypast over Bletchley Park. Our FBO Supervisor Alan Eltham looking after the crew before they set off for Bletchley Park

It’s always a privilege to support visiting aircraft and to play a part in events that recognise the UK’s remarkable aviation and wartime heritage.

A fantastic sight on the ground at Cranfield — and one that will no doubt be equally impressive in the skies over Bletchley Park later today.

A C-130J Hercules has landed at Cranfield ahead of taking part in today’s flypast over Bletchley Park. 🇬🇧

An impressive aircraft and a fantastic sight to see on the ground here at Cranfield before it takes to the skies for this special occasion.

Keep your eyes to the skies! 👀✈️

September is here, meaning it’s the final month of 2026 for our external flying locations before we return in April 2027. ✈️

We’ll be flying from 10 locations this month, including our exciting new location at Sleap Airfield, Shropshire, from 14th September!

It’s your last chance to fly with us at our external locations this year, and we still have availability across all locations.

📍 September flying dates:

✈️ Biggin Hill — Flying all year round
✈️ Norwich — 6th & 7th
✈️ Cotswold — 5th, 11th, 18th, 25th & 27th
✈️ Southend — 11th, 12th & 13th
✈️ Blackpool — 12th & 13th
✈️ Sleap — 14th & 15th
✈️ Blackbushe — 17th & 26th
✈️ Cranfield — 19th
✈️ Tatenhill — 19th, 20th & 21st
✈️ Swansea — 26th

And while our external locations pause over the winter, Biggin Hill will continue operating throughout the Autumn and Winter, so there are still plenty of opportunities to get airborne! ✈️

A great day on Apron 1 at London Cranfield Airport!

Seeing the legendary Spitfire parked alongside the modern Pilatus PC-24 was a fantastic reminder of just how far aviation has come. Two incredible aircraft from very different eras, sharing the same apron.

A huge well done to our Handling Team, who delivered the same high standard of service and professionalism to both aircraft. Their hard work behind the scenes keeps every arrival and departure running smoothly and safely.
