I took this selfie yesterday because I was feeling cute, I liked my outfit and my makeup and I had done my hair too. Looking at it I felt like I recognised myself again and that startled me, I realised that I’m starting slowly to look more like I did before I got pregnant. Not that I’ll ever be the same or look the same or even want to be, but I am noticing that it truly does take a year and a half to two years postpartum to start feeling more like yourself again. I was told this, but didn’t really believe it. I felt like that was way too long and surely it would take less time. Turns out it doesn’t. So if you’re a mama and feeling a bit flat after having your baby, give yourself so much grace and just know you will get there and you’ll take a selfie when you feel like you’re looking cute and you’ll see her (yourself) again ♥️✨

We had the best day out at with Amma and Afi 💕 Jacks favourite bit was running in his harness (believe me it’s needed) with Amma and calling Camels ‘doggies’ 🐫 we loved seeing a tiger have its breakfast and walking through lots of spiders 🕷️ what a treasure it is to live in a city with so many fun things to do.

Tonight on the final episode of Britains Favourite Railway Stations with me, and we’re seeing stations deeply connected to communities. I got to visit the lovely station of Yatton in Somerset, on the most gloriously sunny day - home to the amazing Strawberry line and the Strawberry line cafe! Tune in at 9PM on More4!!

Little late with the for last weeks episode of where I got to visit the lovely station of Lowestoft. There I met three incredible people who were evacuated from the town during the Second World War. Speaking with them was so moving and I felt so privileged to hear their stories. Not to mention getting to see how the lovely station is being brought back to life by the community there ♥️🥰

Okay not done posting yet, because when you get invited to BBC Breakfast you gotta post about it ☺️ such a pleasure being back on the sofa with Si talking about our new series and educating Charlie and Naga about railways in Iceland (or lack thereof) 🚊

Thank you for all the messages saying you saw it, it’s actually mind blowing how many people tune in to Breakfast, something I definitely didn’t think about whilst on the sofa otherwise some nerves would have poked through 😆 best message though was Ben sending me a photo of Jack watching mommy on TV… he wasn’t too fussed, he probably thought “oh there you are mommy, get back here to serve me lunch and play with me” 🤣 Grateful 🙏🏻

TONIGHT! Thursday 8 January 2026, 9PM on More4 is the premiere of my new series Britains Favourite Railway Series with Si King and Damion Burrows 📣📣

It was such a pleasure filming this last summer and I can’t wait for you all to see it. Celebrating Britains Railway stations and the people who truly make them landmarks! 🚂

I got to meet the president of Iceland 🇮🇸 Halla Tómasdóttir, the first female president since Vigdís Finnbogadóttir in the 1980s. What a remarkable woman. So much grace and warmth. Always so proud to be Icelandic and British and bridging that gap ♥️
