Saab today green flag diagnosed as starter failure turned out starter wouldn’t work as battery had 4v 😂 battery changed but had a parasitic drain from Bertie the bodgers previous repair a fixed earth to 86 on the main control relay leaving it permanently energised with a 125 ma drain wiring fault traced to a break in the loom and a repair piece spliced soldered and shrink wrapped into place control of relay restored and drain gone another success story for the day have a great weekend guys and girls

Todays job in the rain a movano van with a bad vibration when the blower fan was running a pig of a job as the complete dash needs to be removed to access the part it has sucked som debris in which was stuck to the fan causing it to run out of balance new fan fitted and all working another happy Philtec customer

Sneaky little beggar today 2018 transit with abs and traction control fault was missing the signal from the near side front wheel sensor bias voltage was low to the sensor fault traced to a crack in the insulation of a wire which had then corroded with the ingress of water sadly Ford only supply a complete wiring loom so in the interests of economy wire was repaired waterproofed and working well another happy Philtec customer
