FRIENDS OF WEST OXFORDSHIRE DARTS LEAGUE

On the late May bank holiday Monday 25th May Lennon is running a darts competition/fundraiser day for Diabetes UK

Diabetes is a very close one for Lennon as he was diagnosed in March 2022 for type 1 diabetes. He's had numerous health problems due to this, and mentally it takes it toll.

So on the day Lennon is running a dart competition with half money towards to the charity and half paid out. 🎯

SUMMER LEAGUE FIXTURES

I can confirm these will be available for collection tonight at Finals Night.

All packs will be given to the first individual claiming for each location, the committee will note their names.

Good luck to all those playing tonight, I look forward to seeing you all there.

Don’t forget to bring along plenty of £1 and £2 coins for the raffle. (We also accept £5, £10 and £20 notes)

REMINDER - FINALS NIGHT

FINALS NIGHT FRIDAY 15TH MAY CARTERTON SOCIAL CENTRE

I have re-emailed the Finals Night Schedule, we will have access to the hall from 18:30.

Please check to see if you are scheduled to play in any of the first 5 games, if you are, please make sure you arrive prior to the 19:15 game start time. all others who are due to play, please arrive by 19:30.

There are a large number of games to play so please ensure you are ready to play your game when your name is called. If you are unfortunate and lose your game, please stay at your board in readiness to chalk the next game.

If you are not comfortable chalking please arrange someone to take your place before you play your game, I find the offer of drink often helps.

If you are in a team in either of the KO Cup or Supplementary Cup and a member of your team is unable to attend, you can substitute a player, although that player cannot have played for another side in the competition, you must inform the control desk ahead of your game.

As usual we will be holding our raffle, the committe would be really grateful if you could ask your home venues to donate a prize, I will also be looking for some support in selling the tickets as 2 of our glamorous assistants are unavailable this year.

Due to the large number of games and the number of players in multiple competitions I do not see the trophy presentations commencing until 22:30 at the earliest.
