4 Years of L.N.B Logistics
In the modern world, we never really get much chance to stop and reflect on the past especially in the haulage industry, where everything feels 1000mph.
It was only when a memory popped up on Facebook that we realised what tomorrow marks…
Tomorrow marks 4 years of L.N.B Logistics.
Now, to some people, that might seem like a flash in the pan. But for a newly formed company, it feels like a pretty big deal.
The funny thing is, trucks were never the dream they weren’t even on the radar.
After Liam’s service in the Light Dragoons, he was looking for something new. A fresh start in civilian life.
From leaving school to crewing armoured fighting vehicles on various deployments, he wasn’t sure what came next.
Liam was so far from trucking that, on his last day in regiment, someone said to him:
“Well, you’ve got your HGV licence, you’ll be fine.”
To which Liam replied:
“If you ever see me in a truck, I’ve failed at life.”
Something he’s pretty embarrassed to admit saying now 😂
After having no choice but to take a HGV driving job, he soon found that he loved it.
L.N.B started at the end of Covid 19, which was a very difficult time for all companies. In all honesty, it hasn’t really improved consistently since.
But we are still here, and we are still building and that is what counts.
To go from an idea to where we are now is amazing, and it is all down to our customers, staff, hard work, and maybe a little sprinkle of luck.
Looking across the yard this afternoon and seeing the trucks roll back in gives you a real rush.
But the most important part is reflecting on the things you can’t see the growth as people, learning in the seat without anyone there to steer you.
We’ve made some amazing decisions over the years, but we’ve also made some bloody bad ones. And in business, they all cost money!
But that’s what running a business is all about.
So, what does the future look like for L.N.B?
We have had a lot of growth over the last 6 months, which is great. But with growth comes complexity, and personally we feel it is best to take a minute to breath before pushing for more.
Our main aim now is to professionalise the business even further, invest in our staff, and make sure they have the right tools to do the job to the highest standard.
Because high standards are what we strive for daily, and we hope to continue as we grow.
So finally, after a long old read, thank you to our customers, staff, family and friends for helping us get this far.
Sadly, we aren’t stopping here, so you’re going to have to keep putting up with us for now 😂
We can’t wait to see what the next 4 years brings 💪
