A heads up from Rob. In case you haven't heard - the A31 has not yet reopened.

Initially it was stated midweek this week - but that has been extended.

It has obviously extended our journey times - but we are advising all our clients affected of revised travel times.

We have been advising our clients of extended journey times while the A31 through the forest remains closed.

Traffic on the diversionary routes has been really bad - with no alternative routes. Therefore we need to allow extra journey time.

It makes you realise how important these routes into and out of the area are. It's the same when the A338 Spur Road is shut - the surrounding roads used as a diversion end up in gridlock!

With everything being so dry this vehicle fire started the forest fire which spread quickly.

Well done to the emergency services & thank you for all you are doing to save the forest 🔥🔥🔥🔥🚒
