Quince & Son Ltd were delivering produce to the London Markets as early as 1958, with John Quince using a Bedford TK with a payload of just 5 tonnes!! John and his father Ken, the founder of the company, expanded the business in the early sixties, employing their first extra driver by 1963. Ten years later, K. Quince & Son Ltd added the popular British-built ERF to handle the workload. The Volvo b
rand was introduced in the late 1970βs, and is still used to this day. Quince & Son Ltd continued to grow with the expansion of a wholesale business in Bournemouth. After Kevin Sheath joined the company in 1987, John and Kevin continued to develop their professional and personal service with their existing customers, which resulted in them forming K. Quince & Son Transport in 2009. In April 2016, K. Quince & Son Transport became a limited company.
