Quince & Son Ltd were delivering produce to the London Markets as early as 1958, with John Quince using a Bedford TK with a payload of just 5 tonnes!! John and his father Ken, the founder of the company, expanded the business in the early sixties, employing their first extra driver by 1963. Ten years later, K. Quince & Son Ltd added the popular British-built ERF to handle the workload. The Volvo b

rand was introduced in the late 1970’s, and is still used to this day. Quince & Son Ltd continued to grow with the expansion of a wholesale business in Bournemouth. After Kevin Sheath joined the company in 1987, John and Kevin continued to develop their professional and personal service with their existing customers, which resulted in them forming K. Quince & Son Transport in 2009. In April 2016, K. Quince & Son Transport became a limited company.

It is with great pleasure we present the new addition to the Quince Fleet.

The Volvo FH Aero 6x2 Lite tractor unit with 500hp engine, which has been carefully specified for weight saving.
Our thanks to Ryan Masters and Jon Cooper of Volvo Truck and Bus Centre South and East for their support in the spec of this vehicle.
It has allowed us another 1000kgs payload 😊.
Ben our driver is reporting excellent fuel efficiency @ 10.88 MPG over the working week 😊

Another investment by Quince Transport this year has been a flat trailer.
Jewers Doors our longest established customer needed to replace their flat trailer haulier due to retirement. We now transport doors and steel frames for both Esavian and Phoenix departments.
This has led us to expand our customer base.
DSM contract lifting do some interesting and varied work , this needs planning down to the finest detail. At times a challenging but rewarding job.
Hunters Farm Shop require overheight pallets collecting for their equine department giving us ideal backloads from all over the country.

We are pleased to announce our first contract with Flamingo Flowers.
This will be local work moving fresh flowers from their packhouse in Sandy to a local distribution centre. This will also involve extra vehicles when they have peak periods for Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter.
