📢 Crossroads and Seaview filling station 📢

Unfortunately both filling stations on Benbecula are out of petrol as of this evening.

At Seaview, I have managed to turn the unleaded pumps off to prevent an airlock, leaving all the outdoor diesel pumps still running.
At Crossroads, this is not an option, so unfortunately the outdoor payment terminals have been switched off for the night as of now.

If you need diesel tonight, please head to Balivanich, not Creagorry.

If you need diesel tomorrow, both filling stations will be open as usual.

I’ll update on the petrol delivery as soon as I can.

Our office will be open Monday, Tuesday mornings only this week and then closed until 7th January. Going to enjoy some well earned time off and get ready for Santa. As we get closer to Christmas Lambert and I would like to thank all our Staff and drivers for their hard work and support this year, it is always much appreciated. We would like to wish Staff, drivers, Customers old and new a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2026. Also a big thanks to Woodys and M & H drivers for working alongside us all year and working especially hard at this time of year to ensure everyone is ready for Santa. Please be aware that due to adverse weather ferries have been cancelled/disrupted and looking likely to be again. Whilst we all appreciate that deliveries of parcels are critical please be mindful of the situation and rest assured that we and all the local drivers are and will try their very best to get your delivery to you as soon as they can. It is very frustrating for us all that at one of the busiest times of the year the weather plays havoc with our plans. It is winter though and as we live on an island where we depend on ferries sailing we have to expect some disruption. Thanks, Gail

As we are approaching a very busy time for us all I just wanted to advise that collections from our premises from now until Christmas will be by arrangement with the office only. Parking is limited for us and other businesses during this busy spell so we would ask any visitors to our business to park in the East Camp Trust carpark adjacent to An Caladh/opposite the Riding School to avoid any congestion and risk to others.

As you know there are lots of people waiting for parcels/consignments but we are already up against it with ferry disruptions whether technical or weather related and we have to work with Calmac and others to ensure the quickest deliveries possible with the issues we face.

Ourselves, Woodys and M & H Carriers appreciate you are all desperate to get your parcels in time for Santa but please be patient and be kind to all drivers and staff who, believe me, always go above and beyond to help make sure your deliveries are made.

Please use your tracking apps to check where your parcels may be and if they are on route to you. Please also allow a couple of days after they say delivery will take place as due to ferry cancellations etc their estimations are sometimes incorrect.
