****VACANCY - SPECIALIST TRANSPORT PLANNER****
We are looking to recruit an assistant transport planner to join our busy team, based in Wootton, Bedfordshire.
We are a friendly family run business, specialising in self-off-load vehicles and pride ourselves in the customer service we deliver. The role would include assisting the transport office with calls to and from operatives, helping customers with enquiries and orders alongside processing paperwork. It is essential the applicant could work well within a small team, can work under pressure and most importantly is willing to learn. The successful candidate will need to be reliable and trustworthy.
Experience not necessary as full training can be given.
Room for progression.
Salary negotiable based on experience.

As featured in this week’s Commercial Motor, we’ve recently added to our fleet the UK’s first rigid powder tankers built by Van Hool Industrial Vehicles. Both chassis supplied by Volvo Trucks and now both hard at work for a valued customer. Big thanks to Van Hool Industrial Vehicles and Kirk Coachworks in Wisbech for the build and paint respectively. These vehicles will be based in our Essex depot, ideal for London specific deliveries.

Our latest addition to our fleet of Rigid Curtainsided Moffett vehicles…. Another Volvo FH Aero hit the road last week! Thanks to ZJB in Wisbech for the body build and to Volvo Trucks. Painted and finished by Kirk Coachworks. Keep an eye out for this one on the road, with a few extra additions to be added over the upcoming weeks ✅

We are currently looking for a driver for our rigid powder tanker.

Working out of Essex you would be away from home for most of the week and expected to have 3/4 nights out. Applicants must be willing to work as part of a team and look after their vehicle to our company standards, as well as be comfortable with London/Urban deliveries. Experience would be beneficial, but training will be provided so experience is not essential.

In addition to our lorry loaders, our rigid vehicles equipped with Moffett forklifts are ideal for those tight urban spaces…. As well as those narrow country drives! All our rigid vehicles carry up to 16,000kg when equipped with Moffett offload, with space for between 16 to 18 pallets per load ✅

Last week our FASSI UK Ltd lorry loaders combined to tandem lift three 40ft x 12ft Freezer units as well as a move of a polar store on site. One of the freezer units was skated out of position to allow both lifts to take place, before being loaded by both our F905 and F66 with 360 lifting.

A very late introduction to our newest addition which arrived just before Christmas! Another FH Aero added to the fleet, this time paired with a Royen built trailer equipped with Fassi 905 rear mounted lorry loader. Our machinery depot will be making the most out of its increased capabilities, lifting over 7500kg at over 10 metres ✅
