1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville complete! Here is a selection of photos and videos from the start to the end. Arriving from Painting Classic Cars having been finished with a wet sand 3000 we began our process with a full decontamination wash. This was followed by a first cut using hybrid wool pad and Cartec United Kingdom 3000 diamond cut, 9000 final Cut and then finally a 12000. Once the car had been fully checked in the sunlight it then received a full Ceramic Guard ceramic coating meaning it is now fully protected and ready to use after its full restoration. #1959

First stage of polishing on the 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville is complete. Using Cartec United Kingdom diamond cut 3000 with a hybrid wool pad has worked perfectly. Around 35 hours have been spent so far and we still have two stages left before we can apply the Ceramic Guard coating sealing and protecting the paint and glass. Painting Classic Cars have smashed it out the park with this one. Lots more to come over the next two weeks. #1959

Second full day complete on the Cadillac. Roughly 16 hours taken to complete the 3000 cutting stage on the front wings, bonnet and nearside. Still the offside, roof and rear end to do before moving onto the second stage. Looking stunning already.

Something colossal arrived late yesterday! This 1959 Cadilac has undergone a full bare metal repaint with our good friends over at Painting Classic Cars. The owner has opted for our full 3 stage process with Cartec United Kingdom Ceramic Guard to protect it and seal the paint. Lots more coming on this over the next 2/3 weeks. #1959

Massive thank you to Tony and Leo from Mobile Trailer Servicing And Repairs Ltd today who come out and carried out a full service on our enclosed trailer. New handbrake cables, brake shoes and hardware all fitted along with a full health check. First time using them and they were really helpful and genuine. 100% will be using them going forward. This also means our trailer is in the best possible condition and safe to transport your pride and joy.
