Dennisons – 50 Years of Excellence

2020 marks a very special year for us as we celebrate 50 years in business from 1970 – 2020. Starting in 1970 as a small family business, today, Dennisons operates across 6 sites throughout Northern Ireland with circa 250 staff, providing a wide range of specialist services across multiple sectors.

A family of businesses working together, we now offer; Volvo new and used truck sales, vehicle rentals, a commercial bodyshop, service and parts supplies, commercial vehicle breaking and more recently we have opened Dennison JCB – a JCB dealership providing sales, parts and service to the North of Ireland including Donegal.

On the 50th anniversary of Dennisons, we reaffirm our founding goals, and set out our vision to ensure complete customer satisfaction and product innovation in a rapidly changing world.

Over five decades, we have brought together rock-solid ethics, strong family values, whilst introducing the best in commercial vehicle and plant manufacturers.

Our 50 years of experience have shaped us into the company we are today and we are determined, that Dennisons will continue to deliver that high standard throughout the future.

As we reflect, Dennisons is a story of great achievements in the past and future innovation; it’s a story of our incredible staff working together to achieve the highest standards in our industry and, above all, the support from our wonderful and loyal customers.

The Chief Executive of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has welcomed plans by the new owners of to grow jobs, increase and boost growth in the area.

Wrightbus Chief Executive Buta Atwal set out the firm’s vision during a meeting with Anne Donaghy at The Braid in .

Last month Wrightbus announced it had completed its first delivery of new buses following the company's acquisition by Bamford Bus Company.

It is currently recruiting for a range of roles, including , and project .

Following the meeting with Mr Atwal, Ms Donaghy described the company’s commitment to Ballymena as “a ringing endorsement of our area’s world-class advanced capabilities and skills base”.
