Due to the staff shortages, our Rathlin West Light Seabird Centre will be temporarily closed from today (Thursday 9 April 2026).
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused for those planning a visit.

We hope the Seabird Centre will reopen as normal as soon as possible, and we will update as soon as we are able to reopen.

The Spirit of Rathlin has safely returned to Ballycastle Harbour and is ready to resume service.

Following essential works and inspections, we’re pleased to confirm she will be back in operation from tomorrow morning, departing at 08:30 from Rathlin Island.

Thank you to all our passengers for your patience and continued support during this period — it’s greatly appreciated.

We look forward to welcoming you onboard again as we continue serving the Rathlin Island community and visitors.
