Major Update: Peak District BusDay

It is regret that we announce the cancellation of the Peak District BusDay on Sunday 20th September 2026.

Unfortunately, with the current situation surrounding rising fuel prices we can not justify launching a new BusDay when things are so uncertain as to when the prices will decrease. We looked at the option of reducing the area we intended to serve however this would not be the launch of this that we were hoping for.

We apologise that this is not the news we wished to provide however we hope to try again next year once things have settled down and we are confident that we can provide a cracking day out which you will all enjoy.

We still intend to operate our Pennines Community BusDay as planned however this will see some slight changes to reflect things to ensure that our amazing vehicle owners can provide their lovely vehicles without fear of high costs.

Visit Bamford Edge At Our Peak District Community BusDay

As we continue to hype up our NEWEST BusDay taking place on Sunday 20th September, we thought it'd be good to promote some of the places our FREE bus services will take you.

We plan to operate hourly bus services from our base in beautiful Bakewell to Bamford where you can take the short walk up to the stunning Bamford Edge!

With beautiful scenery, lovely buses both old and new and all our bus services FREE of charge make sure you get the day booked off in your diary for the BEST day out in the Peaks.

Spectacular Scenery Is Coming Soon!

We're on the countdown for the most exciting all new Peak District Community BusDay which is taking place on Sunday 20th September between 10am and 4pm. Between these times a variety of buses and coaches will take you from Bakewell Square to some of the most spectacular, and sometimes forgotten about, scenic spots in the Peak District and Hope Valley.

We've begun to send out our entry forms for vehicle owners who would like to join us for this epic day out. We welcome buses and coaches of all shapes, ages and sizes to enjoy routes with a view. If you are interested then either pop us a message here or email us at: [email protected]

What Routes Would You Like Us To Run?

As we are midway through the planning stages for our BRAND NEW Peak District Community BusDay taking place on Sunday 20th September we are on the lookout for your suggestions of where you would like us to run our network of free bus services to.

We plan to base our network from Bakewell Square and operate services in a similar fashion to that of our ever popular Pennines Community BusDay so would love to hear your suggestions!

Whether it's a good pub, the start of a lovely walking trail or somewhere scenic you'd enjoy to view from the top deck of a double deck bus then let us know in the comments below.

P.S. Feel free to tag any popular venues you'd like us to visit so we can get in touch and possibly collaborate with, to make your day out with us even more amazing!

NEW for 2026 - The Peak District BusDay!!

Working from our very popular Pennines Community BusDay, we are very proud to announce the NEW Peak District Community BusDay taking place on Sunday 20th September 2026.

Based from Bakewell Square, we plan to operate a number of FREE TO USE scenic bus services operating at regular 15-20 minute intervals between 10am and 4pm to the BEST parts of the Peak District. As we are very new we would appreciate all the sharing you can to make this the another amazing BusDay for all the community from visiting tourists, excited locals and our amazing bus enthusiast following!
