Tomorrow marks the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year and a reminder of how precious daylight hours can be during winter. But, shorter days don’t mean you have to pack away your bike 🚵

Here’s some of our top tips for cycling safely in limited daylight:
🔦 Invest in bright front and rear lights to ensure you’re seen on darker trails and roads.

👕 Wear reflective or high-visibility clothing to stand out in low light.

🕑 Start earlier and choose routes you know well to avoid getting caught out by the dark.

🛞 Ensure your brakes, tyres and lights are in top condition before heading out.

🧣 Dress in layers and pack a warm drink if you’re planning a longer ride.

10am - 4pm, every Sunday.

Also open on 27th, 30th & 31st December.

Closed throughout January 2025. Re-opens everyday from 10th February 2025.
