Congratulations to the player we sponsor Jamie Johnson for getting man of the match yesterday as Valley fought for a hard earned draw away at Worksop! Keep up the good work lads!

⚫️🟡 MAN OF THE MATCH 🟡⚫️

Yesterday then men travelled up to Worksop for their next league game. With both teams having recruited well over the summer it ended up being a great competitive game! Despite going behind Valley dug deep and came back to take a 17 - 17 draw with the very last play of the game!

Valley tries came from Ross Pepper, Tom Dexter and Conor Buxton with Conor also taking 1 conversion.

Yesterday’s MOTM could have gone to a number of players with some great performances across the team!
Worksop’s choice for MOTM was prop Jamie Johnson who had a cracking game making his usual strong carries which consistently took 2 or 3 defenders out of the game. He was also super solid in defence!
Well done Jamie!

Jamie is sponsored by E coaches of Alfreton!

The men are back in action next weekend when they’ll make the short trip over to Matlock. 🏉
