Quick one for anyone heading to Farnborough Airshow 2026 — which day are you going: the trade days or the Friday public day?

Here's a little insider tip while you're planning. The drop-off everyone fights over is Queens Gate Parade, but the show actually has three gates — Gate A (Transport Road), Gate B (Trenchard Way) and Gate F over by the Space Zone. Knowing which one lines up with your stands can save you a long, hot walk in July.

Farnborough International Airshow 2026 runs Monday 20 to Friday 24 July. Trade days are Monday to Thursday. Friday 24 July is the public "Pioneers of Tomorrow" day.

Here's what catches people out: only council-labelled local taxis can use the rank by Gate A (Rae Road). Pre-booked cars use agreed pick-up and drop-off points instead — and knowing exactly where those are is the difference between a calm arrival and twenty minutes lost in delegate traffic.

The M3, A331 and A325 start backing up around 7:30am during show week. We plan around it.
