Since people's packages are arriving, I wanted to share something fun that we included in everyone's order. 8 years ago, when Monstro and I had our first Halloween season of Pseudo Ludo, we thought it would be fun and silly to include these Perler bead skull magnets whenever someone ordered in October. Since it's our first year back in a while, we decided to make 'em and add 'em again to keep the nostalgia going. Some of you may even have them from the first time around, and that just makes our hearts so happy! We love you guys so much and are so thankful to everyone who shops and shares and likes what we do! Our Weeny Witch and Pals set is coming together! I made the magnets and stickers sets, and our lined memo pads came in and are so awesome! They turned out adorably and have really nice, thick paper. The acrylic pins are being finished up and should be arriving any day now. Seeing these Hallo-Weenies getting cooked up has brought me a ton of nostalgic joy! The first of our Halloween surprises is a whole pack of hot dog filled nostalgia and fun- The Weeny Witch and Pals! The Weeny Witch, Red Hot Goblin, and Weeny Ghost were originally from a Halloween Party book from the 1950's. We have been in love and obsessed with her and her pals for so many years that we decided we needed to give them new life and a new friend too, Biscuit Wrapped Mummy! He was inspired by Halloween treats from our childhood in the late 80s and early 90s. We hope you love and enjoy them as much as we do and feel the spooky memories of Halloweens gone by! Hello happy horror people! We’re already a bit behind on our annual October double feature-a-day Halloween horrorthonfestenstein, but we’re doing our best to catch up in style with two modern favorites: As Above So Below (which was just released in a great special edition from )and Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (streaming on and ). No real thematic link here (unless you count very bad things happening to a group of overconfident people in creepy locations), but these are found footage classics in our eyes. We can’t wait to share our viewing schedule throughout the month and talk about some of our favorite films with you all, and find out what some of your spooky month viewings will be! - Monstro
