Every two years the FAST conference (Fast Sea Transportation) brings together international specialists of fast maritime transport. The 14th edition of FAST will be held in France in the beautiful town of Nantes, at the Cité des Congrès from September 27th to September 29th 2017. This year, FAST is accompanied by an international colloquium on innovative materials for the maritime industry.
FAST 2017 is co-organised by the GICAN and the Naval Group (formerly DCNS) and will bring together academics, experts and industrialists from all over the world.
A certain number of core topics are at the heart of FAST: besides traditional topics including security, transport economy, logistics and hydrodynamics, this year particular emphasis is being placed on the use of new materials, propulsion methods and fuels.

La 14ème édition de FAST se tiendra en France dans la belle ville de Nantes, à la Cité des Congrès du 27 septembre au 29 septembre 2017. Cette année, FAST est accompagné d'un colloque international sur les matériaux innovants pour l'industrie maritime.
FAST 2017 est coorganisé par GICAN et le Groupe Naval (anciennement DCNS) et rassemblera des universitaires, des experts et des industriels du monde entier.
