Provence in June is one of those places that actually looks like this in real life. No filter needed. We drove through field after field of lavender, stopped at every farm stand we passed, let Rex run wild and ate an embarrassing amount of lavender honey candies before we even made it back to the village.
If it's on your list, go. And go during lavender season.

Julia Child had her first French meal at La Couronne in Rouen in 1948 and said it changed everything. We took Dylan there in December and honestly, we get it. Oldest inn in France, three courses for €45 and every dish was ridiculous. Some places just don't need to try hard. 🇫🇷
